888 Ladies Bingo is the new site from 888 Casino and Poker rooms. Launched early in 2008 with the help of Vic Reeves, on TV and in magazines, they're hoping to take a large slice of the bingo market.
Using Globalcom bingo software, new players no longer get £5 free - instead it's a 200% deposit bonus plus a free £5 (i.e. you must spend some money first). There's the usual mix of promotions, team bingo, loyalty points and competitions too. As the name suggests it is aiming itself at ladies playing bingo, which might put a few guys off joining - which is a shame as the site is well designed and easy to use.
The exclusive promotions (e.g. holiday competitions) will help attract new players, but 888 Ladies need to build on their initial advertising to take on the bigger names in bingo.
